Hi ladies!! I'm thinking about switching to cloth wipes and was hoping you would have some tips as to what you use for the solution. Now that Charlotte eats solids twice a day, her poop is OH SO smelly and I'd like a little something extra to clean her off. We've been using 7th generation chlorine/fragrance free since birth but I feel like she's not getting clean enough.
Also, as far as washing them goes, do I spray them off just like her dirty dipes before washing??
Thanks ladies!!

Re: Cloth wipe solution
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.
I make my own solution with water, coconut oil, and tea tree oil. I keep the bottle of solution in the wipe warmer, so I can wet individual wipes as needed and the coconut oil stays dissolved.
With the peanut butter consistency poo, I usually try to wipe off most of the solid mess with her diaper before I wipe to avoid having to spray off the wipe. Most of the time the wipes don't get a lot of solid matter on them & I just throw them in the pail.
I either use plain water or use Ruby Moon Wipe Bits to make a solution.
If the wipe has chunks, I spray or swish it, otherwise, it just goes straight into the wet bag.
Water with a squirt or two of CA Baby wash in a peri bottle.
I use the diaper to wipe off most of the solid mess. If any happens to get on a wipe I will spray it, but I think I've only sprayed wipes, like, twice.

Thanks ladies! I was thinking of doing water with a few drops of TTO but I wasn't sure.
