Ok I usually dont post, but the people at my job are making me want to scream! I am an on-site property manager at a very small apartment complex (30 apts), and then I work part-time at another property leasing. The property I live at has had issues with parking, and I have stayed up late on many different nights to have people towed that don't have parking permits. One of the tenants comes to my door (after I am technically closed) and starts to complain that I didnt tow the two cars he saw last night. I told him "I can't stay up all night every night and watch the cars, I have to sleep, you know I work somewhere else, and I am pregnant." He gets all huffy and is like well can't you stay up late and then just get them towed? NO, STUPID, I stay up till 2 am twice a week on different days to get them towed, I am not staying up more often! Sorry this is long I just needed to complain.

Is there any chance that you could put up the tow number and encourage the people who live there to complain? In our apartment complex that is what we do and it works really well.

I don't know how you do it. When I was living in my condo, I took on the role of Board President, so I got a taste of what property management is like. The tenants had no shame! Whenever they saw me, they complained about something. It's a thankless job and people seem to think you are on call 24/7.
