Help teething

My son soon will be 4 months and my husband and I already had multiple sleepless nights because of his painful gums. I feel so helpless while he?s crying in agony I?ve thought about giving him some chamomile tea to see if it sooths him but I?ve heard mixed opinions about it. What would you recommend without using medicine?

Confused

Re: Help teething

  • I don't know too much about natural remedies but I've heard good things about the amber teething necklaces. We have tried frozen washclothes, teethers, and letting him gum on our knuckles after we washed our hands. Good luck!

  • DS loves a cold, wet washcloth more than anything esle in all honesty. We will only use Tylenol if its really bothering him. Most of the time he'sjust fine with the washcloths, he doesn't seem to like teethers all that much.

  • Wow I've never heard of an amber teething necklace I would have to read reviews about it. Thanks!

Yes I also let him gum on my knuckles but he hates teethers.

  • I will try the wet washcloth since he's not a fan of teethers. Thanks!
  • We have not used them yet, but I have heard good things about Hyland's Teething Tablets. I think they contain chamomile, so it might be easier than trying to brew tea for LO. We used the Hyland's Colic Tablets and although I was skeptical at first, they did seem to help DS calm down. I already have some of the teething one on hand for whenever we might need them.
