Does anyone here have experience with a diagnosis of myasthenia gravis?  If so, I have questions.

Does anyone here have experience with a diagnosis of myasthenia gravis?  If so, I have questions.

very very  limited experience, my ex's little sister was diagnosed when she was a toddler.  All I know is that she was very very weak, and to the point where she could not open her own eye lids.  She had a treatment done which at the time was kind of new (she is 22ish now) and she has been in remission ever since.

Mito-Disorder has been mentioned

DD2(2.5): Late term premie due to PTL, low fluid & IUGR, Reflux, delayed visual maturation, compound heteroygous MTHFR, PFAPA, Bilateral kidney reflux, Transient hypogammaglobulinemia, EDS-Type 3

  • I was Dx at age 18 now 29 and had a thymectomy about 8 months after Dx. Thankfully, I've been in remission ever since. I'm 28 weeks pregnant with my first baby, and have not had any MG complications to this point. I've met with high risk OB, but am followed by my general OB, and I will meet with high risk anesthesia as I get closer to my due date, as medication tolerances are different with MG. I'm happy to answer any questions I might have experience with!
  • I have it. diagnosis three months after having my lo.
    happy to answer questions
