She stopped nursing and said "down" so I let her get down. As soon as her feet hit the floor she starts crying turns to me and says says "doff! doff!" in this pathetic whine/cry. (doff=nurse) This happens every morning, I'm baffled.
She went to the pantry and asked for bites. I handed her a cracker. A meltdown ensued.

I wanted mommy to grab the toy I was giving to her so I could play with it and mommy was trying to text daddy... I still won and daddy had to wait for an answer :]
Who knows why this kid flips out. I *think* this morning it was because her sister touched her, but it also could have been because her sandal was on the correct foot.

She is with grandma right now, but yesterday it was because mama made her come inside when it was time for her bath. And then, because she didn't want a bath and wanted milk and to go to sleep. And then, because mama wouldn't let her get out of bed to take a bath at 8:15 pm!
I stopped letting him play with my spice bottles so he could eat dinner yesterday. I put him back on the floor for a second and he scrambled over to them and gathered them up quickly and hugged them so I couldn't take them away again.

That is adorable. G loves the spice bottles too. Yesterday she got one of them opened and seasoned the kitchen floor.

Today we made her take a 1.5 hr car ride to the zoo. The last 30 minutes or so she completely flipped out. She kept saying "Up, mama, up mama, up mama," and was crying so hard she could hardly breathe. I finally had to go in the backseat with her.
She's always hated the carseat, but lately she has been flipping out over the weirdest little things.

This is a great post, we need to make this a regular thing! It's so nice to know that we're not alone in the mad vortex of the Terrible Twos!
Yesterday Jack threw down because I wouldn't let him have his third waffle of the day.

I unplugged his breathing treatment machine so he couldn't turn it on.
I changed his diaper and got him dressed.
i made him sit by me instead of between his grandpa and uncle at lunch.
