Preemies

Question about teeth

I have two questions actually, DD has both bottom front teeth, the one on the right seems to be a little clear, it has some white color to it but it doesn't quite look right, I'm not sure if this is a preemie thing, a run of the mill baby thing, or something I should be finding a pediatric dentist for. She also has a 3rd tooth coming in on the bottom, but its coming in where her canine should instead of next to her front tooth on that side, her bottom front teeth came in crooked, which her pedi wasn't concerned about, so I'm not sure if that's causing the gap between the teeth she has and the one coming in or not. Since she's my first and preemie I'm not really sure if these issues are something that go along with prematurity or what. Was hoping someone here would have some experience with either issue and some advice.

I will give you my experience so far, but I would check with your pedi. My youngest son has five teeth now, the front bottom two and three tops. The bottoms looked clear when they were first coming in but over the last two months as they have come through more they have whitened considerably. My oldest son just has his bottom two barely through and his are starting the same way. It really worried me in the beginning but my pedi suggested just watching it and I'm much more at ease now.

DD had a yellowish colored tooth.  The dentist said they enamel didn't fully form over the tooth.  She actually had a second one in the back we couldn't see.  Around 3ish, it was filed down and sealed.  She's 7 now and still has those particular baby teeth with no issues.  She's not had any cavities to date either.

ty ladies for the input. I'm going to talk to her pedi about it, both front teeth are completely in. Sometimes I think I get overly worried about things because she's preemie, but the if thats the case with her teeth at least her pedi will be nice about telling me I'm to paranoid lol
