Makeup foundation

I was using a neutrogena foundation with salicylic acid, until I read not to during preg and switched to bare minerals makeup. I have very problem skin especially now so it takes me foreverrr just to cover my red bumps and blotches...just curious if any of you have found a good liquid foundation, or makeup line that is safe for pregnancy. Thanks ladies : D

I've always used MAC studio fix fluid foundation. It doesn't have salicylic acid in it, and it doesn't make your face feel oily or look dry either. It's an all around great makeup. A little bit of it covers a lot. I think you can find it for a cheaper price on amazon, but to find your correct color I suggest going to a department store that carries it so they can match you up to it. Color matching is free too! :-)

I used Merle Norman before I used Bare Minerals which is what I used now. I also tried MAC when I was at the mall but I like the powder base instead of liquid and it doesn't have that chemical in either. Good luck!

Agreed! Love MAC cosmetics!

I use Aveda. Most of their makeup is safe enough to eat, that's how natural it is. But now I'm curious about the foundation.

I use Make up For Ever HD foundation. I get it at sephora. I love Bare Minerals, too. But, when I need full coverage to cover my acne (hello pregnancy!) I use the HD stuff. It lasts all day long. Love it. It's non-comedogenic, but doesn't have any sort of medication in it.

Right now, I'm still putting a light coat of my Bare Minerals on top as a powder. My skin is SO oily right now.

I use Estee Lauder usually, with a primer from Philosophy.

I think any makeup is fine, and I don't plan on changing what I have just because I'm pregnant. I've never heard of any harm to a fetus caused by makeup. I think it's an overreaction.

I switched to the Korres line at Sephora. Paraben free all natural, Greek company. I've been really happy with skin care make up and my skin cleared up immediately!

Try using a powder cover up instead of a liquid foundation. That coule help clear your face up. I won't ever use liquid on my face.

i use laura mercier oilfree tinted moisturizer foundation w/ SPF. i avoid anything from brands that test on animals. LM and Trish McEvoy make great oilfree, safe makeup.
