I have a newbie question

in TTC After a Loss

Hello guys, 

I have a quick questions. Since I have stopped bleeding post D and C today do I count this as CD, it has been 9 days since my D and C, or should I wait until the real AF shows up and start counting then?  I am trying to avoid pregnancy for this month at least.

Started dating in 5/9/05, Married 6/25/11
Started TTC Feb 2013, BFP #1 3/4/13 EDD 11/10/13. MMC 4/9/13 D&C 4/22/13.
BFP #2 7/17/13, EDD 3/29/14 ended in a CP on 7/22/13.
BFP#3 8/19/13 EDD 5/3/14 Nerdling was born 4/29/14, welcome little one!
 All AL welcome.

    I've never had a d&c but this is what I always thought. Start temping regardless so you can avoid pregnancy this cycle.

    This is correct, this is what Fertility Friend tells you to do and is what I did. I posted the exact same question when I was new to the board. Sorry for your loss, but welcome. 

    All of this.  

    TW loss mentioned 

    **BFP#1 9/5/12   EDD 5/15/13  changed to 5/25/13 after u/s,  missed mc 10/19/12.  D and C 10/22/12** 
     **BFP#2 9/12/13  EDD 5/16/14 changed to 5/27/14 after u/s, hb 126 on 10/11/13, miscarriage on 10/24.13**
    ~RPL testing results from 12/6/13 show everything normal except elevated prolactin. Blood work is now in the normal range. All AL welcome!
    BFP #3 10/24/14  Our rainbow baby was born July 2015
    BFP 4 10/28/19 EDD 7/6/20

    I started my cycle of CD 1 with the day of my DnC. A F came back 5 weeks later. I waited two cycles before TTC again. Wanted to wait one but cycles was too messed up. Now on cycle two. Glad I waited. I am in a much better place now two months later.
