S/O Dh's and jobs!

DH started a new job on the 22nd, so a little over a week ago.
By Friday the manager was telling DH he was getting certain jobs and objects because he was the most mature, responsible person working!
Yesterday the manager asked DH to train people on equipment, these are people who started with or before him.
Apparently they had another talk today (he's been at work all of 1.5 hrs) and he mention the "promotion" word.
I'm trying so hard not to get my hopes up but this is one of the first jobs H has had in a long time that he likes. It obviously shows since he's beyond excelling. It would just be so nice if things kept going in this direction.
