Baby Positioning in Sling Question

Whenever my LO is in a carrier (the Mei Tai or the ring sling) in facing me, he insists on having his face straight on toward my chest. He won't turn it to the side, and gets mad if I try to turn it toward the side, and just turns it right back toward me. I can hear him breathing fine; I have a fairly large chest and it creates a sort of shelf there that he likes to rest on. Is this okay? He certainly CAN turn to the side if he wants to...

Yes, he'll turn if he needs to. Just check him more often. DD likes to snuggle in sometimes too.
