We moved 10m-old DS from a center to a babysitter this week. I was off last week, so we visited the babysitter, and he got to know the other kiddos. He is not transitioning well, and won't let the DCP put him down. He starts screaming if she even bends over, refuses bottles, and is not napping for her. I'm able to come nurse him during my lunch, and he passes out for the 25min I'm there.
I feel awful for him and the DCP. She has other kids to watch so he has to be put down, and she's wondering how daycare was able to do it before.
He's been super clingy with me, too, and while we make do, I know that the DCP is having trouble.
Any suggestions? We just have to get through the next seven weeks before I'm on summer vacation.
Re: Help - DS won't let DCP put him down
No, we had to make the change due to expenses :
