Just when I started to relax a bit

I woke up this morning with red blood.  It was really dark, almost brown, and seemed pretty heavy.  I am a complete mess.  It has stopped now, and I waiting for a nurse to call me back.  I did see the heartbeat last Thursday (6w 6d), so I am trying to focus on that.  I have had no cramping.  I am so very scared.

Try to calm down a little. I was just told by my cousin that her friend bled dark red with clots while pregnant and her baby is now a healthy 9 month old. You're doing the right thing in calling your dr and focusing on the good right now. So sorry because I know this must be scary. Thoughts and prayers to you and baby.

She is talking to my doctor, but says that dark blood is old blood, so she is not too worried.  Since it has stopped and my u/s looked good last week, the plan right now is to monitor it and call back if it returns. 

This is going to be a very long day.

Sorry you're going through this. The fact that you have no cramps and saw the heartbeat are very good signs. I'm sure everything will be completely fine.

This just happene to me. I've already had a US and saw a hb. Ha bleeding. Freaked the eff out. Got another US yesterday and baby is great. I have a small subchorionic hemorrhage. Not expected to cause problems at all. Hth!

Did the bleeding stop or continue?  Mine has stopped since early this morning.  I have my regular appointment May 7th, unless it returns and they take me sooner.

I've had bleeding on and off since 5 weeks. The doctors can find NO reason for it, however my babys heartbeat was seen at 6.2 weeks and everything seems to be fine. Sometimes we bleed without warning, but it doesn't always have to be bad!
