What are some ways to keep baby asleep in crib? My little man has been sleeping in his sleep and play this far along but Ive been trying to work on getting him to sleep in his crib. He'll sleep in there..but only for about 15 - 30 minutes at a time. Any suggestions?
Re: Trying to get LO to sleep in crib
Wait until they're ready to transition is my biggest advice.
Otherwise, you might try laying down a blanket or something that smells like you as a "sheet" on the crib. White noise. Patting their chest/shushing when they start to stir.
Basically, if they don't want to sleep in the crib it's just going to be about them getting used to it at their own pace. You can set the scene, but there's no real way to keep them asleep obviously.
If you can wait to transition, I would. Go with what's working for as long as possible. They might surprise you and let you know when they're ready. If not, it's likely going to be an easier transition when they're a little older. JMO
