Super Yellow pee

My pee is dark/neon yellow! Do you think it's the prenatal vitamin causing it? Or is this a pregnancy symptom? I am drinking plenty of water so I don't think it's a dehidration issue. Anyone else have this?

It's the prenatal vitamin. I get that with any vitamin I take.

My pee has been very yellow lately. I always do a double take when I wipe because its such a dark yellow. I always up my water intake and try to go pee more often when I see it super yellow like that.

ETA: I have been taking my prenatal vitamins since January and the dark yellow pee didn't start until after I got my positive, so I don't think that's the cause for me.

If you are drinking lots of water then I would attribute the dark yellow urine to the prenatal vitamin.  I take a prenatal and extra B6.  My urine is almost flourescant once I start metabolizing the vitamins.

yes probably your vitamins- but this one is off the cuff... I wash my toilets with bleach and if I pee into the water before I flush it it will turn my pee brown. Weird? It freaked me out the first time. Did you do anything like that?

I noticed this the last couple days.  I just started to take B6, so I'm glad to see from the responses that could cause it.  I was wondering how I could possibly drink more water than I already am.

This sounds like me too. I've been taking prenatals since last baby was born 2 yrs ago but now I have super yellow pee.

I've been taking prenatal vitamins for 3 years and it did make my morning urine more yellow (I take it at night before bed.)

However, since get my + test, it is neon yellow all day long.  I am drinking almost a gallon of water a day so I am certainly not dehydrated. It must be related to pregnancy as well.

I have been taking prenatal vitamins for a year now as well. Since I'm pregnant I drink a lot more water then usual. In the morning my urine is yellow due to dehydration at night. Bright yellow urine shouldn't be the norm ladies. Your body is telling you to drink more water. I'm a CNA and a nursing student.
