Head support in Convertible Car Seat?

DD is 7 months and has been in her convertible car seat since 4 months.  She is a very long baby and really more the size of a 12 or 13 month old all around, especially length.  We have had her car seat adjusted by the fire department, so I know it is correctly installed.  Lately, when she falls into a deep sleep, her head falls forward.  It not only looks uncomfortable, but it worries me with the angle of her neck and keeping her airway open.  Do they make a contraption that helps keep their heads back, or I am just being silly to worry about it?

  • I am wondering the same thing?  We just installed our convertible car seat yesterday as I physically can no longer lift the carrier that came with our travel system.

  • There's a great Facebook group with legit carseat experts called Carseat For the Littles. I'd suggest joining that group and posting a pic of your LO in the car sleep asleep and ask your question. They even helped me install my convertible carseat on their site. It's amazing!
