Yay, because it is the only place my son will sleep.  He hates being flat on his back.. If that were not the case though I would not use it, as it is just one more transition to worry about having to make.

Worked really well for DS1 with reflux and works well for DS2 - he naps in it and sleeps in it. It is easy for DH to sit and rock DS with his foot while he plays video games so I can check out and go to bed!

I'm a nay, though I think it is useful for babies with reflux. We never had one and I didn't feel like we were missing out. Of course babies will sleep in it, but I don't think it is a necessity. I have several friends who swore by it, but they had tons of issues transitioning baby into sleeping on a flat surface. I think we rely on things like this way too much.

    Nay

Don't have one and my 7 weeker happily sleeps in her crib all night.  She puts herself to sleep without fussing and I don't have to worry about transitioning her into her crib after training her to sleep in the RnP.

I slept in a bed pushed up beside crib first many weeks and now sleep in the bed across the room and I am slowly transitioning myself back to my bed down the hall.  I currently sleep the first chunk of the night in my room then the rest in her room.  She doesn't need me in the room I just find it easier to be there for feeds rather than stumbling down the hall.

I personally think it is easier to struggle with crib training in the first couple days than doing it later on after training them to sleep elsewhere.  The crib is all my little one knows for nighttime and she is content to lie there looking around until she falls asleep.

I do cuddle her most the day and let her sleep on my chest while I watch tv.

Yay. We tried everything else and it wasn't working, and we weren't getting any sleep. I was skeptical at first, but it's been a life-saver.

You can always make sure to keep the box and receipt so you can return it if LO hates it.

Yay. DS has reflux and it helps him to be comfortable. I'm not worried about transitioning him, it will all come in time. It's worth every penny, IMO.
