Hi everyone! So I have been on bed rest since Monday for spotting and cramping....both fairly light. However, I am still scared to death. After my long fertility journey, I am 4 weeks and 6 days with DE. I don't have my first U/S until 510. I am laying here in bed, praying everything stops and all goes well. I have watches movies, crocheted, done crossword puzzles, read, etc. but I can't seem to shut off my mind. Can anyone relate? What worked for you?

Unfortunately, I had a bleeding scare last week after my first u/s.  The bleeding lasted for about 24 hours, then tapered to brown then stopped completely.  I think that my cervix was just irritated.  I hope that that is the case for you too.  Sorry that you are going through this, have you called your RE?......maybe they can get you in for an earlier u/s to put your mind at ease?  Big ((hugs))  It's so scary.

I hope you bleeding has stopped for good!!!! I have been in touch with my dr office last week but I am going to call them again tomorrow. Last week, they said it was too early for an U/S but maybe this week they can bring me in. I have been doing well since this morningno blood, red or brown, since about 10am.

Spotting and cramping is fairly common in early pregnancy and it sounds like your RE is being ultra cautious with you. I know how hard it is to wait and wonder what is going to happen next in an early pregnancy though. I can relate to that!

For me, the worst thing I could do was talk to Dr Google and try to figure out all of the worst case scenarios. They would eat at me and eat at me and make me miserable. I hated when people told me to relax, because I couldn't relax. I just hope that you are able to find some distractions that make it a little easier for you. Called my dr office and spoke to my nurse. She was great! She is having me do a progesterone shot daily instead of every other day. She was very reassuring and said that she felt that my spotting is probably medication related progesterone supps irritating my cervix. She said based on my symptoms there is little to make her think i am losing this pregnancy. I go in on Thursday for progesterone, estrogen, and hcg check. Thanks for all of your support ladies!!!!
