Anyone else nervous when not sick?

I am in my 7th week and the past two weeks I have battled non stop nausea and fatigue. And today, it hasn't been too bad. I was only slightly queasy when needing to eat breakfast, but otherwise, fine. I've even had more energy today...... And while happy to get some relief, I'm nervous. It's almost like "wait! Why don't I feel pregnant 247? Is something wrong?" Don't go back to the dr until May 16th....... Help!

  • It's totally normal to feel worried about that - I'm the same way. I haven't been seriously nauseous yet and it bugs me. AND I worry when my symptoms are too strong, too.

I just keep reminding myself that my body knows what it's doing and I need to trust it. This pregnancy is going to happen the way it's going to happen, and the best you can do is make sure you're caring for yourself and keeping yourself healthy along the way.

I promise to never forget that this little dude deserves just as much love after the baby comes as he has now.

  • I am sure your fine.I have only had m/s a couple of times over the coarse of all my pregnancies and I was fine. Are your nips still tender? that symptom is the one that never seem to disappear for me.
  • Yeah, the symptoms are annoying but they're also reassuring.

Yes, they are still super sensitive!!! I will keep that in mind!

    Thanks, ladies!

  • No.  I would give anything for a symptom-free day so I can give my kids their mom back
  • I got nervous for about 5 minutes than realized I need to be thankful and enjoy every minute of it.  Like others have said it's normal.  Our bodies are going through so much right now we are going to have plenty of up and down days.

  • Yes, it's normal, but we really do need to be grateful for those "good" periods. The m/s (moderate to intense nausea, but no puking thankfully) started for me about 5 days ago, and about 2 days in I had almost a day of no nausea. It made me a bit nervous, but then it came back in full force and has been pretty relentless the last 48 hrs. It's actually easing up a bit right now and this time I am just relieved! I know it'll be back to some extent soon. :-/

  • I am in the exact same boat. I've convinced myself it is because today was Saturday and I was just naturally more relaxed due to not having to go to work... My nausea seems to have returned tonight, but all day it was no where to be found. I don't go back to Dr. until 5/21... which seems like an eternity.

We will make it though! :) Good luck! We need to enjoy whatever little breaks we get.

  • I'm in the same boat as well. Reading all these "lost baby" posts gets me so worried. I've been dealing with bad nausea for the past 2 weeks as well and everytime it lets up I get worried. It's like a constant state of worry! I hate it just holding on for week 12 and hopefully everything will feel better. It's so horrible because I feel like this is the toughest time yet barely anyone knows we're pregnant and now is when we need the most support! Hang in there!
  • It comes in waves.  I don't get nervous when I actually feel human again; it more surprises me and I enjoy every single minute of it!
