So k has had a mucous cough and started having white runny d. I took her to the dr and he said beginning bronch also has blisters in throat from a virus. I told him about the white runny d but he wasn't concerned. I've read scary things on what white d could mean and I know it's likely all connected ie part of the virusbut still worries

Anyone been through this?

Yup, and it was the grossest thing ever. We had blowouts happening multiple times a day He had the flu and it passed after 3-4 days I think.

Yes.  We had it for about a week.  It really caught me off guard the first couple of times, but doctor said it was just a virus going around and that they had seen a lot of it.  Hopefully she starts feeling better soon!
