OT J's steak marinade

Into+the+Kitty

1/4 cup soy sauce

3 tablespoons light brown sugar

3 tablespoons white vinegar

1/2 teaspoon each of

Garlic powder

Seasoned salt

Garlic pepper

4 ounces of Sierra Mist

 

It's specifically a marinade for steak, but if you're making kabobs, it's amazing if you marinate the mushrooms in it too.

I read the subject as "OJ steak marinade" and didn't really think orange juice would be a good marinade! Lol

We don't do much soda do you think you could leave that out or sub it? We have some la croix but it doesn't have sugar or anything in it. We have some mushrooms that would be tasty to marinade!

We never drink soda, but it really wouldn't be the same without it. You could possibly try a lemon like flavored seltzer, but I don't know how that would work.

You could use the rest of the Sierra mist to make some fun summery spritzers, though.
