28 weeks today. Hello tri 3! Baby is the size of an eggplant.

I have my three hour glucose screen this week. Hoping everything there looks good.

During this pregnancy I've had a lot more appointments with my ob and I've been seeing my high risk doc once a month. I've also been having more frequent growth ultrasounds. The frequent appointments help ease my anxiety for a couple of days after, but the first day that baby girl is quieter than usual I'm right back to being a nervous wreck. Take today for example. She was busy for the last week. Them last night dh and I dtd for the first time in weeks and she's been quiet since. No bleeding, no cramps, but I can't help but think we must have done something wrong. Pgal brain definitely sucks.

On my mind this week is getting through the next eight weeks. Once we get to 36 we are going to reassess and decide if we're ready for induction. Baby is measuring two weeks ahead right now so I'm hoping this will let us get her out and home safely sooner than later.

Not necessarily as my pregnancy wasn't the problem but my Dr understands my fear so he's already planning extra u/s. because I had GD with Corbin I've already done a 3 hour glucose test. I passed it but will have to do it again at 9 weeks

8 weeks today! Raspberry or kidney bean

My first prenatal appointment is tomorrow.

I'm not officially listed as "high risk", but I will have more monitoring toward the end just for my sanity, and we will most likely induce around 38 or 39 weeks. I've already had an extra u/s (at 7w4d) after I had some scary spotting. Part of the reason I wanted to stick with the same practice was because I knew from my pregnancy with Julian that they're very responsive and do not hesitate to bring you in if you're worried about anything.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? We don't have a nickname for this LO, despite lots of brainstorming. So far we just call him or her "baby" or a hyphenation of our favorite boy and girl names (which we are determined to keep secret even though we plan to find out the sex this time). We're definitely connected to this baby, and already talk about and to him or her a lot. We just don't know what to call this little bean!

QOTW: Are you being monitored more closely with this pregnancy? If so, do you find it helps to ease your fear? Yes I will be monitored more closely (but not until 2nd tri) I doubt it will help my fears...I'm going to be a nervous wreck until I have this little one in my arms.

So far I have gotten beta's checked, they didn't come close to doubling in 48 hours.  I had another draw on Saturday and am waiting for those results.  I also had an ultrasound on Friday, the tech said there was a gestational sac and maybe the beginning of a yolk sac.  I knew we wouldn't see much, but with the very slow rising beta's, I'm expecting the worst.

I'm trying not to completely check out and give up hope, but I feel like have been down this road before.

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? appt. at 1 today to see the HB and to see if the twin is still there or not...FX!!!

If so, do you find it helps to ease your fear? today will be my 4th US...I am only 7 weeks.  i had some bleeding so that is why they have seen me so much so far.  I go to a GIGANTIC OB practice and everyone from the receptionists to the techs will stop me and tell me to call them if I need them (if my dr. is going to be out).  I am VERY appreciative of all of the TLC...I am going to speak to my Dr. today about extra monitoring before my AS.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? just ready to see a HB and to know if there are 2 babies in there.  I also miss my little girl like crazy and am constantly suprised at how bittersweet this is.
