When did you announce?

I'm 6 weeks 5 days so we've only told my parents and closet friend. I don't want to announce to the world this early or until my first US to be sure all is going well so just wondering when others announced or are going to announce?

We're not announcing until 12 weeks.

We've only told 2 people so farmy sister and my best friend. We'll tell more once we see the heartbeat. Probably won't post on facebook until we are decently into the 2nd tri.

We will wait until 12 weeks. Hopefully we will have heard the heartbeat by then. My appointment with my ob is at 9 weeks and she doesn't plan on doing an ultrasound so I don't know when we will get to hear the heartbeat. I want to wait till we hear the heartbeat before we spill the beans.

11-12 weeks. It's hard to keep it quiet! A lot of people know (sister, friends at the gym, my 3 closest girlfriends) but we are not telling the kids or our parents until 11-12 weeks

We told family a week after finding out and we just started telling some friends after seeing the heartbeat at 7 weeks. We may announce on FB on Mother's Day when I'll be 10 weeks along.

We will wait until we have CVS results, around 13 weeks.

(we told my mom when we found out because she was staying here recuperating from a broken foot and sprained ankle. We will tell the in laws after we see a heartbeat).

No one knows.  We are waiting until Mother's Day.  I will be 11 weeks.

We told our parents around 5 weeks but everyone else we'll tell at 12 weeks.

8 weeks for my parents, then 10 weeks for his (we want to tell them in person and we randomly have trips scheduled to visit then). My best friend already knows - she's a doula and has just been a great resource. Annnd...I've told a couple of my close friends at work and then every single stranger I can find. I told the grocery store clerk today. It's just so fun to say it out loud!

The end of the 1st tri is our plan.  But it may be harder to hide a pregnancy during the summer.  Summer clothes and all.

Told parents just a few days after we found out. Would have been same day, but I always wait to tell them in person. Siblings were told at the same time.

Other family and close friends will find out after the first appointment. We won't completely announce until somewhere around 8-12 weeks.

I convinced my husband to wait till at least Mother's Day. So we will tell family then. Since my mother can't hold a secret to save her life, within the week I'm sure the world will know. I will be 10wks :

We've told my parents a close friend... We'll probably wait until about 12 weeks. I'm debating talking to FI about telling his mom sooner than later. Also FI told his boss cause it seems like everyone in FI department is having babies including his bosses wife lol

With DD we waited till Christmas Eve I was 8 weeks gave my family a picture if the ultrasound to open. Close friend found out about than but other friends weren't till 12 weeks FI mom wasn't told till 13weeks when FI was ready.

My mom is the only one that knows, my dad suspects cause we did Ivf and he was with us during the treatment... I also told 2 random sales person hehehe I guess is fun to tell people!!! We will probably let everyone know at 12 weeks !!! It's soo hard to keep it a secret!!!!

We've only told a few select people. We're telling the families in Mother's Day. I'll be almost 10 weeks. Well tell everyone else around 12 weeks :. So excited

My family knows and my husbands parents know. My work and some of his work know. We wont be telling some of his family till june when we go visit them, and then will make it official on facebook after. We will be about 13 weeks

I can't keep a secret told most people including Facebook same day I tested I read that a miscarriage isn't preventable so I figured I have nothing to loose and I wanted all the support from family and friends

I hate waiting and actually told my parents the day i found out but husband wants to wait so now I have to keep them from blabbing to him. I'd like to do it on Mother's Day for his mom but also may do it "officially" after the u/s next week.

Between 10 and 12 weeks.  I want to tell everyone at my work before we are done for the summer (I teach) so we don't come back in Sept and they are all blown away LOL

Told parents and in laws at 5 weeks and had to tell work at 6 weeks because I had to work from home one day due to morning sickness. Will be telling everyone else after the 12 wk scan. We're convinced there's nothing in there and that we're both going mad, so we need proof before we let the cat out of the bag!
