S/O BFing and FET

I was just thinking about this and was wondering if anyone has any insight.  Is the only reason they want you to wean before an FET for inducing AF or is it because of whatever drugs are part of the protocol?  I am not ready for #2 any time soon but was just curious what the reason is.

    Your hormone levels are different while bf'ing, so I think that can make a difference for the estrogen and progesterone supplements that go w FET.

    As a side note, I got some PPD while weaning, so it would have been really hard to be doing a F
