Rx Prenatals

Are Rx Prenatals worth the price?  I went to my gyn to confirm my pregnancy and she gave me an Rx for Nexa Plus.  I just found out that they will cost me $95/month out of pocket.  I'm just wondering if they are truly worth the price as opposed to the $15 I can spend on OTC Prenatals.  I know Nexa has a laxative in it but right now that is the last thing I need.  I'm tempted to just keep taking my vita fusion prenatal gummies and add an iron supplement.  Thoughts/opinions?

I don't know, that seems pretty outrageous to me.  I would stick to the OTC ones, & if you want you can just switch to one that already has iron in it, most of the regular ones do.

I'm just taking regular prenatal script. For me I was paying $30 over the counter for the centrum brand for one month. With my insurance I am paying only $10 for 3 months, so that's worth it for me. That's the only reason I got a script for it. Do you not

We have stores that fill prenatals for free. Worth looking into. (maybe not that specific brand)

I have insurance but it is the kind where they give you a certain amount of money at the beginning of the plan year, after you go through that you have a bridge (like a deductible) where you pay everything out of pocket before it goes to a more traditiona

With my first pregnancy, I took the perscribed ones. My insurance was $10 for 3 mo supply. This time, the Dr asked me if I wanted a perscription, mentioning I coulf just get the ones from the store too. SO I skipped the perscription & I got

No viatmin is worth $95 a month.  That is outrageous.  Read the ingredients and find something similar.  Amazon has great deals on high quality prenatals, or get a script for something that is covered by your insurance.

VitaFusion Prenatals and an iron supplement. Got mine from Rite Aid and got one bottle full price ($12) and a second free. There are iron supplements that are powdered and you mix it with a drink of your choice. Less side effects than in pill form. $95? S
