Cmonkey, the "regulars" totally did start a FB group of their own last week that you have to be approved to join. 

I think that thread sums up nicely why I think that board is lame and rarely post on it.

I've kept my distance for the most part.  It seems to me that the board possessiveness has been growing for a long time.  Compared to this board, which holds the best sense of humor on TB imho, there are way too many know-it-alls over there.&

I just kind of skimmed it, but I truly was curious to see if they answered the question "what makes an important post?"  Sadly it seems they just kept skipping over this question...which figures since it was legit.  I hate when people skip over

I try to participate to give advice when asked.  Ocassionally start a thread...  But i mostly just watch.
