I'm sorry but after reading the "Pregnant and really scared" thread I just wanted to let you know that you were completely wrong in giving the OP advice to not go to the hospital and for making a blanket statement to never go to the ER for pregnancy related concerns. That is really crappy advice and I hope no one who read that took that to heart.

Normally I wouldn't have called your mistake out, but that one just really hit a nerve with me.

    If you are not smart enough to either call a nurse service or ask a doctor or go the the ER when something is wrong no one can help you.

    Pain to the point of passing out is something different than "I have cramps and I'm pregnant, I am obv going to the ER."

    Pain to the point if passing out, no matter pregnant or not, is ER worthy. Cramps, not so much.

    I ended up in the ER with 2 of my miscarriages because they both happened between 1am and 3am. When I lost the Twins I was hemmoraging and had to have Emergency surgery. Had it not been for the ER, I could've died.

    Anyone who is reading this post, here's a good rule of thumb: if you are passing out and having severe pain, you should always go to the ER, pregnant or not.
