No I am not even close to being in labor and this is not a question about how you know you if you are in labor or not! I just wondered when you start counting the hours. Most people say..."I was in labor for 12 hours, pushed 8 times and baby was here" or something. Do you count labor from when you start feeling contractions at home or when you go to the hospital? Just curious.

Depends I suppose. My water broke (SLOW leak) on a Tuesday although I had no idea that's what it was until my Dr's Appt on Wednesday. My Dr sent me to the hospital at 2:45 in the afternoon, they put in a follie catheter to help dilate my ce
The pushing part was from the start of the last phase, when the doctor says "it's time to push!"
I started counting once my contractions were timeable and I knew they weren't going to stop which was like 5pm on a Friday night. I had DS at Noon on Saturday.
However my first contraction came at 11pm Thursday night, but they came and stop
