Natural Birth

So sad!

Some of you may remember my issue finding a new hospital after we move and no longer being able to be seen by a midwife.  Well, I called my Mom today and the first thing she says is "too bad you're not due in September".  Turns out Duluth, MN is building its first stand-alone, midwife run birth center but it won't be doing deliveries until September 1st!  Not even two months after my due date!!!  Grrrrrr!!!  Thus is my luck, I guess.

But, at least I'm happy with where I have decided to deliver.  If I was stuck delivering at the outdated, giant baby mill hospital in town I'd probably be more upset!

  • That really stinks that you'll miss getting to deliver there by that short of time. I have no birth centers in my area either, so I will have to deliver at a hospital. (I won't get into why I don't try homebirth, as there are midwives centered about
