What a pleasant surprise!  DH and I had DS in our  early/mid 30s.  After being a mom for over five years now, I can honestly say that even if I had him in my 20s I still would not desire to mother more than one child.  I think every mother is different and I also think other people try really hard to make everyone a "cookie cutter" family.

Anyhow, DH and I enjoy our rising kindergartner.  I look forward to chatting on this board :-)
