Spitting Up

Does anyone have a LO who still spits up (a lot)??  My DS is 10 months old and has been spitting up since he was born.  We thought he had AR and put him on meds when he was about 2 months old.  Looking back now, I don't think he had AR.  He spits up a lot on daily basis and is not bothered by it, he is gaining weight and thriving.  What bothers me now, is he spits up his solids also.  He takes in about 24 oz of formula a day plus 3 meals and a couple of snacks.  The Dr keeps telling me it's normal.  When we go on play dates and people see how much he is spitting up, they are shocked.  My girlfriend saw it and said "that's not spit up, that's vomit!".  Anyway......sorry for the long post.  I'm just curious if anyone else is dealing with this?  TIA
