I love this name, my mind immediately goes to "smart" when I hear it. I knew a Soren in college, he was such an smart/interesting guy. And of course who doesn't love Kirkegaard?

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
I like this name a lot! I would pronounce it kind of like Lauren. Sore-in.
I'd spell it Soren, without any special characters, just to make life easier and avoid the extra "nuisance" that sometimes accent marks and special characters
It's my BIL's name. He pronounces it as PPs described and spells it without any diacritical marks (I think he used the little slash thing on Facebook for a while to be cute, but I'm not sure if you can even use them on identity documents in America)

I like it actually but i think of another Soren from a saucy book series who is [inanutshell] a sadistic catholic priest. still, a pretty good guy all things considered.

II know a Soren. I definitely think of Kierkegaard. I would also assume people will ask him if he's Scandinavian.
I've always pronounced it SORE-in.
I think male names ending in -n are all the rage these says, but Soren is still
