Stretch marks!?! Any recommendations?

Ladies, any recommendations on brand of oil to use for stretch marks? and when someone should start?

Many thanks!

  • Deal with them. Use coconut oil or a simple moisturizing lotion for making sure the skin is moisturized/conditioned. You can't prevent them. They are genetic.

I didn't have a single stretch mark with my LO and was bragging about it....after his birth, as my mid-section got smaller, I was left with a battlefield of stretchmarks. That's what you get for bragging prematurely ;)

  • During my first pregnancy I used MamaMio Tummy Rub Butter and Oil. I really liked it. My strechmarks are very minimal but my sister and my mom both didn't get bad ones.

I started using it around 20 weeks. I was thinking about ordering it again

  • Bio Oil is what I used. I only have a few stretch marks below my belly button, but like others said, I think it's mostly genetic. My mom only got a few also. But I really like Bio Oil.

  • Drink lots of water, use lots of lotion to keep yourself and your skin hydrated, and don't gain lots of weight quickly, that might help, but genetics really plays the part here.

They do fade, mine aren't so bad anymore, but they are 11 years ol

  • Like everyone else says, you can't prevent the stretchmarks but you can make your skin stretch a little more comfortably by using coconut oil.
  • I think you can minimize the chances of getting stretchmarks. I bought Mama Mio tummy rub. It's pricey but it's got amazing reviews. Using it already, feels amazing, smells great. And keep hydrated!
