How old is too old to be in a onesie under a shirt?

Also, what about rompers at this age? Does it look silly?

I've had to start putting Alissa in onesies again because all of a sudden she loves to stick her hands down the back of her diaper. Which leads to her running around looking like a baby plumber!

I quit onesies a loooong time ago. Partly because I didn't like how they looked on him but also becuase he went through a phase where he hated getting his diaper changed and having adding buttons to the changing process was not worth it.

I'm anti-both for now.  He hasn't worn onesies in a long time, but I'd be willing to bust them out again if he starts putting his hands down his diaper.  Rompers were almost all he wore last year, but I think he's too big for them this year.

I never did onesies as undershirts, my kids are way too warm for that. I still have a few onesies she wears as regular shirts, but I phase those out by the time they're 2yo and/or potty training.

Since day 1 Bo has worn a onesie as an undershirt! It is sad to think at 2 years we will switch to regular white T's as an under shirt.

I always loved onesies, and he wore them as undershirts for the winter but doesn't really need them anymore. I like rompers for young toddler girls but not so much boys so he will not be in any this summer.
