Got ants?
We have a carpenter ants issue.
I don't understand why, because the house is always really clean.
Anyways, I read on Google cinnamon keeps them away.
So we sprinkled a Barrier of cinnamon all around the house.
They went away, but then it rained and washed it away.
So I was just outside and saw some.
I sprinkled the cinnamon and some of it got on the ants.
They curled up and died.
Yay!
I didn't know it literally killed them
I just thought they didn't like the smell....

We have a small house, and I still don't think I could bear to pour that much cinnamon on the ground... Especially if you have to re apply after every rain. That would get expensive! I'm glad it worked for you though!!

Yeah it's raining again. Hooray for April.
I just poured it around the back of the house. They come in through the back door. Little buggars.
But the cinnamon we had used was very old.
But I'm sad to say it's all gone now.

You can use actual ant repellent. I think we use an Ortho brand insect killer, you put it in the grass water it and it lasts for a few months. It worked when we had carpenter ants at our old house. I think it's between $5-7 at Home Depot.
