I have a really dumb question

If you drink water, but put crystal light or mio in it, is that still considered water? As in, can you count that toward your daily water intake, or does it have to be just plain, boring old water to count?

What about coffee and tea? They are brewed with water, just with stuff added to it.

    I would count all those. I just don't count sugary drinks or alcohol. I typically don't count milk either.

  • I'd say it depends on what purpose you are tracking water intake. I would not count coffee as water intake, but maybe tea. and I think it depends on how much of the additive is in the water. if its a tiny bit to add flavor, then I'd count it. I squeeze a

  • Yes, I would count flavored water as water, and I'd count tea, too. I would not count coffee. I think it has to be clear (see-through) to count.
