What amino acid formula is your LO on?

What amino acid formula is your LO on? DS has been on the nutramigin AA. However, I noticed that Neocate would cost about $45/month less (we don't have any coverage). Is it the same thing? Is there even something else??? We have a pedi appt. today to talk about this plus the meds he is on, but just thought I'd see what others are doing?

DS is on Elecare. If you don't have insurance coverage, I wonder if the doctor's office could find you a patient assistance program? Our allergist and pedi also give us samples whenever they have them available.

DD is on Neocate.  Our insurance does not cover it.  We buy from the website by the case.  It sucks, but fortunately we are able to afford it out of pocket.

We use Neocate. I go on amazon.com or ebay and order it if I find something cheaper on there if not then I order it through the website. Our insurance doesn't cover it (and i work for them!!). The pedi just signed us up for a patient assistance program with puramino. The only reason I picked neocate because I seen it was cheaper and LO is doing well with it.

Our son is on AA also.  I switched him to Neocate when we ran out of samples of the AA due to cost reasons as well.  He was only on Neocate for 3 days, but those three days were horrible. His tummy couldn't handle it and so we switched back to AA.  Hopefully, if you switch, you will have better results than we did.
