Hello! My LO just turned a year and is currently BFing 4 times a day. Wake up, morning nap, afternoon nap, and bedtime. I am trying to cut out the nursing before naps and replace with WCM, then completely wean around 16 months. He will drink WCM warm in his straw sippy when he's up and about but does not want it before naps since we've unfortunately created a nurse to sleep association during the day. I am concerned that if I cut out the nursing before naps that he won't be getting enough milk during the day? Is there a certain number of ounces of milk a 12 to 16 month old should be getting? He loves his solids and will pretty much eat anything I put in front of him so I think he's getting a well balanced diet in that area. He still eats baby oatmeal and purees but also tons of finger foods... breads, pasta, meats, cheeses, fruits and veggies. So do I need to be concerned about the amount of milk when he's eating 4 solid meals a day plus snacking? Should I give him the WCM in his sippy when he wakes from his naps?
Sorry for the length of this post but I'm also looking for advice on managing any discomfort caused by weaning or how to cut sessions comfortably. Any experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

Re: Weaning Help Needed- XP
