DD still wakes up a lot at night. I do think my "storage capacity" is small. I rarely pump more than 3 oz.
I read this and though it may be interesting for other BFing moms.

Re: BFing and night wakings
definitely! That's why we need to follow our instincts.
And storage capacity has nothing to do with breast size, although I was a 32A prior to pregnancy. Now I am a huge 34B LOL
Thanks for posting this. I think intuitively I've figured out this is why I've needed to continue with night feeding well beyond others but its nice to see it in writing. I just lie if people ask me.
We've had a rough month with sleep, went from every 2.5-3 hours to every hour or so after the 1st night waking and unfortunately I'd miss those 3 hours because I get home from work just in time for the 1st wake-up. I just felt like I couldn't keep up so I decided to start weaning day and night soon since DS no longer seems attached to nursing in the comfort sense, its all business now. Right as I made that decision my little man put on at least 2lbs, his 4th tooth came in, he starting using his signs, walking, loving his Dad more etc . . . he dropped some daytime sessions and this week is feeding 1-2x's a night (insanely little for him). It was just a very long phase, it always is right? It will get better. I thought I was done but we are still doing fine. Hang in there everyone. I am resting up for the next "phase."
