how many ounces to freeze

My lo is a little over 5 weeks and I return to work in 2 weeks. I've been pumping to try to get a stash. I've been freezing 2 oz in each bag. Now I'm wondering if I should be freezing more. I'm not sure how much lo eats per feeding and I'm also wondering if that will change by the time I get to the newer frozen milk. Like if I put three ounces in each bag will she be taking four by the time we get to the part of the stash ... or am I just over thinking? What worked for you? Thanks!

I pump to 6 oz then freeze sometimes 7oz.

I freeze 6 oz at a time. I used to do 3-4, but it was a pain to have so many bags in the freezer. DD only takes 5 oz in a bottle, but I always mix fresh and frozen anyway, so it's not a big deal.

Thanks! I felt like I was wasting so many bags but I wasn't sure if freezing in bigger amounts would work. Now I feel more confident.

I try to do 4 oz, but I will do some 2 and 3 oz bags depending on what I pump.  The smaller bags come in handy when she still seems hungry.

I froze in 1 ounce sticks and then I could pull exactly what I needed for each feeding out.

I generally did 2 to 3oz per bag. That way I could make 4, 5, or 6oz bottles easily.
