Helmet wearing babies...

Hello!  We are picking up our babies helmet on Thursday to assist with rounding out his head.  Thankfully, the flatness on his head is not severe.  Not sure how long he will have to wear it though.  He's 6 1/2 months old right now.  Just wondering if any of you also have babies that have/had to wear helmets and how it all went.  Just not sure what to expect.  I'm wondering if it's going to be awful?  If he will adapt?  Will the helmut be stinky from 23 hours a day of wearing it?  Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks so much!

    Our little guy wore a doc band from 4 months to 10 months old (he went through 2 of them).  I was worried about the transition but it was really just the first nap of getting used to the helmet for him and then he was fine - it was more me that ne

    How flat would you consider your baby's head? Do you have a photo? I think our baby's head is pretty flat but our Pedi doesn't seem that concerned. His features are all symmetrical and nothing looks out of place - she feels that once he is up and crawl

    If you are concerned at all I'd definitely recommend seeing someone about it.  Our first visit was free to just talk to the doctor and get the LOs head scanned.  He was able to graph it out and show us some actual numbers.  It's definitely
