Flip Diaper Hype?

Hey all.  I'm just looking at the Flip diapers and I don't get the hype.  Isn't it essentially just a cover?  If there is something awesome about it that I don't get, I probably want one.  So let me know!  ;]

The pouch is just a little tab on either end to hold the prefold or insert in place.  You air them out if they are wet and if poop gets on them you need to wash (obviously), but I haven't had a problem with that yet. We are past the blow out stage he

As a cover, they work great.  But I actually like using my prefolds in them.  I have 3 staydry inserts.  I'm not a fan.  They move around a lot and are a pain the position.

I also use prefolds in my flip covers. The flip inserts are too expensive to me. The hype for the flip covers is probably because they're wellmade and hold up to a lot of abuse.

I personally really love the Flip system. We use the Stay Dry MF inserts and PF's in them. I like the Flip inserts because they are not as bulky as the PF's. We typically use them when out and about because they take up less room in the diaper bag. Whe

I have some flips, and they don't work well for us.  Whenever DS has a BM, it gets all over the cover and we have to wash it.  I much prefer our pockets.
