XP: A (TMI) question about PP dryness and menstruation...

Does anyone know if the vaginal dryness many women experience from BF is related to menstrual cycles PP? For instance, is it more common for women who don't have cycles while BF to be more dry, and women who do have cycles to be less dry?

I know everyone's a unique and special snowflake, but I'm curious what others' experiences are.

Wow!  I had no idea I thought my dryness was because is the mini pill.   Biologically it makes sense that it's bfing as it makes it that much harder to conceive!

I think you're onto something.  My OB prescribed me an estrogen cream for dryness (which I chose not to take bc I was worried about estrogen affecting my supply.)  But that hormone imbalance may also be related to lack of menstruation.

It's definitely hormonal, but I'm not sure it's related exactly to cycles.

I was the Sahara for the first 6ish months, but then returned to normal.  I didn't get my period back until 13 months.
