Clogged duct?

My milk came in 2 days ago and yesterday I noticed that the hardness extends close to my armpits. It was then that I noticed a hard spot near my right armpit. I've read about plugged ducts and I've been massaging it, but it won't go away. Anyone know how long it should stick around if its a plugged duct? I have similar spots in roughly the same place on the other side, but this spot seems slightly larger than those. Is it supposed to disappear right away with massage, heat, etc? How long should I wait before I call my OB? I'm starting to freak out :

How big is the spot?  You do also have lymph nodes near your armpits that could be enlarged PP.  Make sure you are drinking plenty of water, and apply heat before nursing, and nurse often.  I prefer to just press on the clog rather than mas

I had the same thing, I think it lasted for a good few weeks on and off. Sometimes when I was about halfway through nursing/pumping I'd press very firmly on that spot and it would be smaller or go away for a while. I think it was when my breasts were very

It's the size of maybe half of a dime and its not round, more oblong. I left a message for the nurse at my OB's office today.
