Getting real

My wife has started having random contractions (sometimes in sets of 3 or 4).  We are hoping it is just false labor.  We'd like the little guy to cook a little longer.  We will be full term on Saturday.

    Contractions usually start by the point you're at... earlier actually. I guess it depends how close together and how intense they are.

    36.5 weeks would be totally fine, and really, their accuracy for a due date is much more of a guess. I'm pretty

    Thanks.  We aren't really worried healthwise if he comes early at this point, but we don't have everything in place at home.  My wife has a shower at work today and we've been holding off buying the last stuff until after that.  I think we

    My wife contracted for a while before it became anything where the doctors said we were getting close.  I think she went for at least 2 weeks prior.  If they aren't consistant in spacing and increasing in intensity, it is likely just her body

    We just had our normally scheduled appointment.  Despite having up to 4-6 contractions an hour for the last 5 days, my wife hasn't even started dilating yet.  Doc said she just is practicing having contractions.  My wife is somewhat upset t

    Yeah I've already started crafting a list of stuff that I am going to try to get done this weekend.  Take the load off her.  It will start by her receiving a milkshake when I get home today and then me making dinner.

    And to add to the madness I just received my take home exam for the course I am taking right now.  So I need to carve out time for that as well.
