Intro

Hi Everyone,

I have commented on a few different threads over the last couple of days, but I wanted to also post a formal intro, in case that is the best thing to do in terms of board etiquette (can you tell I am new here? HAHA Smile )!

My wife and I are currently TTC for our first child using donor sperm (unknown donor). We are going the IUI route, and decided to try a natural (unmonitored and unmedicated) cycle to start. My first IUI was on March 30 and it resulted in a BFN. Today is CD10 for me, and I will be going in for a CD12 u/s on Wednesday (decided to have a monitored cycle this time to increase odds with the timing). I am relieved to have a monitored cycle, as I feel like the more information that we get the better. I am hopeful that the second time will be the charm, but I also know that this can be a very long journey, so I am trying to prepare for that as well.

I have read many of the recent threads, and I am excited to connect with all of you. You all seem to have a lot of great and diverse knowledge and experience. TTC can be a roller coaster (I have learned that already), and being LGBT is an added bump (no pun intended), but I know all the challenges will be well worth it in the end. I cannot wait to grow a family with my wife, and share my experience with all of you lovely people.
