bright red bleeding 5 weeks post c-section

in C-sections
anyone know if this is normal? I bled for about 2 weeks then 2 weeks of nothing followed by the last 4 days where i have been bleeding heavy bright red blood. i have my 6 week check up thurs. so I am hoping it is normal enough to wait until then. Anyone know?

    if its really heavy and you have large clots you do want to call the dr. asap.  go with your gut.  If you think you should call, call :)  

    I bled off and on for  6 weeks.  Sometimes nothing and then I would have heavier b

    Call if you are concerned...I did after my 2nd c/s. I bleed for about two weeks then nothing but spotting for about 2 weeks then it started heavier than b4 for a few weeks. I was told it was normal but it was nice to check in with a professional.
