Do you separate the spoons, forks, &knives in the dishwasher, or mix them up?

I mix them up, so they don't get stuck together.

H keeps them together, so they're easier to put away... Even though he rarely puts them away :P

I've always sorted them. I sort by, sharp knives, butter knives, forks, spoons, Taylor's silverware, and spatulas. I never even thought about them nesting together. But they've always come out clean..

I sort them and haven't had a problem with them coming out dirty. It makes it easier to put them away.

I used to mix them because I was afraid of nesting spoons, but now I sort them to make it easier to put them away - nesting has never been a problem. 

There are six compartments: small spoons, small forks, Tatum's silverware and small sippy
