Twin due date

Hi ladies. I am new to this board. My husband and I are expecting twins our firsts. My due date is nov. 15 at 40 weeks. However, my dr already said I will not be going passed 38 weeks nov 1. Would you just tell people you were due nov 1st?

I am currently 34 weeks with twins. And whenever people ask when I do, I tell them I am due whenever the boys decide to come.

My 40 weeks was December 6th...I think? When people asked, I explained that due date was kind of irrelevant with twins and that they'd likely be arriving in November or late October. I was induced at 37 weeks on November 16th.

Thanks for all the advice. It is such a pain to explain everything to people. Lol. I will be happier when the csection is actually scheduled. For now I'll just say "late october"... :

If I was in the mood to chat, I'd tell people my actual due date but then explain that twins often arrive a month or so early. The rest of the time, I would just say that I was due in November/December, and that you never know with twins!

I always said, I'm officially due May 14, but won't go past April 30 (38wks) and hope to make it past the average twin gestation of 35 weeks (April 9)! We ended up delivering at 36wks 1 day.
