Hi ladies!
DH and I have decided to take a trip this year. We will be debt-free (except the house) around September so I suggested taking a trip for my birthday in November. We are going to plan two separate trips, the idea being that Trip A will be a road trip (probably here in Canada) in the event that I am pregnant and don't feel like taking a plane. Trip B can be a bit crazier, so that's where you guys come in! I was hoping for some opinions, maybe some of you have been places you would love to visit again. In case this makes less sense than I think it does, we will only be taking the one trip in November, depending on the state of my uterus.
I've been to NYC but DH has never left Canada and neither of us have flown before. Places we've tossed around are Dominican and Las Vegas. So how about it, is there anywhere you've been or heard of in the U.S. or elsewhere that you'd recommend?

Re: Taking a trip
I loved San Francisco. So far that has been one of my favorite US cities.
Dh and I did a very last minute weekend bar crawl in Dublin a few years ago. By far one if our more memorable weekends!

My favorite trip ever was San Diego. Loved everything about it-- the weather, the scenery, the food (great Mexican food!)
Have fun whatever you decide!

Thanks for the great suggestions! I am definitely liking the San Francisco option...

Thanks for all the great suggestions! I guess I could also check out Groupon and see what happens -- we got one for Niagara Falls for our honeymoon and it was an amazing trip.
I just want to be somewhere warmer for a while!
I am nosy, where in Canada are you?
