Tdap reaction

I was talking to my mom about getting the tdap vaccine at my appointment next week and she told me that when I had it when I was born I had a bad reaction to it with a 104 fever. She said my docs wouldn't give me the pertussis portion after that so that was the only time I've had it. I'm definitely going to mention this to my OB I'm just curious if I would still have a reaction to it 28 years later. Anyone else ever have a reaction and not able to get the vaccine?

My OB explained that while these are side affects, they could also be signs of an allergic reaction that could get worse with each exposure. I think I will take her advice on this one and refrain from getting the vaccine. I've also plan to talk my pediatr
